About the Events
Our events are a relaxed afternoon - we'll welcome you at the door and we're a friendly bunch. Many of the people joining us there on the day and also who are organising the event are in recovery.
Our aim is to provide an interesting, engaging day with some free food and refreshments. We'll talk about what a LERO is (visit the link to read more about LEROs), the importance of the voices of people with personal, direct experience of recovery, and how valuable grassroots recovery organisations (which are led by ordinary local people) are.
There will be conversations, meeting new and old friends, and we'll work together on what is already great about your community - and what support would be needed to make recovery more visible and possible in your area.
